DR. WILLIAM P. ANDERSON

Dr. Anderson is a second generation chiropractic physician who originally hails from Long Island, N.Y. It was there, in January of 1992, that he began his pursuit of caring for his community through safe, effective chiropractic care. Commitment to community has always been important to Dr. Anderson as evidenced by his being a volunteer firefighter with the Holbrook Fire Department.

Dr. Anderson was an Executive Board member of the New York Chiropractic Council where he held several positions in service to his profession. He served as the Chairman of the Interprofessional Committee as well as being a member of the Legislative Committee. He was very active in the Chiropractic Patient Insurance Equality Law of 1997, in effect removing insurance and medical discrimination against patients who chose chiropractic care.

Here in Ohio, Dr. Anderson was recently elected by his peers to the positions of Assistant Director of District 9 of the Ohio State Chiropractic Association as well as the Vice President of the Central Ohio Chiropractic Association. With the OSCA, Dr. Anderson has volunteered as the District 9 Legislative Committee representative where he takes very seriously the responsibility of protecting the rights of chiropractic physicians and chiropractic patients alike; protecting them against unjust discriminatory laws and insurance policies that restrict freedom of choice for health care consumers.

Dr. Anderson has taken numerous post-graduate courses because of his particular interest in spinal biomechanics, sports injury management, whiplash-related disorders and management, rehabilitation, scoliosis corrective techniques, and pediatrics. He has also found non-surgical spinal decompression to be very important in the management of spinal disc disorders.

Dr. Anderson has been married to his wife Kim for more than 13 years, and is the proud father of his daughter Jeanette and his son David. They currently reside in New Albany, Ohio.
